I am a landscape designer with over 25 years of professional experience. Combining my love of art and nature, I have an Art History degree from UNC and a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from NCSU. While studying abroad in Italy, I fell in love with the design elements of the many gorgeous formal gardens throughout Europe. This helped me hone my current style of garden design, which combines formal structure with the whimsy of texture and color. Wanting to share my passion for gardening with my young family, I started growing fruits and vegetables in our urban garden in St. Louis. My three daughters grew up picking blueberries and harvesting veggies and even won local gardening awards! After many requests from clients for veggie gardens, I expanded my landscape design business and launched Bloom Kitchen Garden Company to help St. Louis families grow their own fresh, organic produce.
